By using the function Search Games you can search for the games played by a particular player in the online database. The database is being regularly updated.
The use of custom built accelerators makes accessing the online database very fast. The server processes the search and sends the results back to the user almost immediately.
As an example, let us enter „Kasparov“ in the search box.
The program filters all the games played by Kasparov from the online database and presents the results in a list window.
Clicking on a game in the list loads the game into a board window. In this window you can replay the game, analyse it or add comments to it.
The options available in the board window are described below.
There is a small arrow that follows the games in the list window. This signifies that other functions are available. Clicking on the arrow displays additional functions to further refine the search results.
Example: Select an entry in the games list. Click on the button "Filter White". This restricts the search to only the games that the player played as White.
Open This opens a board window with the selected game.
Filter White/Black This sorts the list and lists all games played as White or Black.
Filter Event This sorts the list by tournaments.
Filter White+Black This lists all results sorted by White and Black.
